Here is our humble abode:
Notice there are no pictures of Claire's room. Those will come soon enough. We currently have a house guest (Lauren) living with us while she settles into her new life in San Diego, too! Also, excuse the portable AC unit in the family room. It is ugly, but with no AC in the house and the crazy, abnormal hot weather we have had here, it is necessary. It is supposed to cool down (70's) in a day or two though, so it will makes its way out to the garage until needed again!
On a separate note, we went to the 2012 Miramar Air Show. I thought of Top Gun the entire time. We saw all kinda of planes, helicopters, and machines! Here are some pictures of our experience:
Blake and I went with Alex to the OC to stay the night, too! Alex had some work to do up there, we we hung out in the hotel, swam, and went shopping. On the trip from San Diego to the OC, you drive through Camp Pendleton. Some helicopters landed right next to the road! They were so low!
We got to visit some friends who moved to Mission Viejo from Bloomington while we were there as well. It was so nice to see Craig and Jessica and meet Garren, their new baby boy!
