Skiing, Beach, California...

California is an interesting place. We can go skiing and to the beach in the same weekend. I love it.

I went skiing for the first (and second!) time this past month at Snow Summit in Big Bear. I was not good... bad... on the first day. Then, a few weekends later, I was a little better! Thank goodness! The first time, it was Alex, Lauren, and me. Alex and Lauren grew up skiing, so they tried snowboarding. Alex now owns a snowboard and barely needed any time get the hang of it. The kids are really starting to enjoy playing in the sand, collecting shells/rocks, and the ocean!

Side note... They BOTH have been to the dentist now... They are getting way too old!

Blake is 3!

Blake is getting so big! Three years old. Starting preschool in August. Talking up a storm. It's crazy!

We had a "Cars" themed birthday party for him at the park by our house. His friends came, played, and we had snacks and cupcakes! He was so worn out at the end of the day! Grandma Liz, Auntie Anne, and Bob came to visit, too! And, of course, it was Super Bowl weekend, so we got to watch some football and eat some good food!
