I always pack too much for just myself. Now add two dogs to that. Then, I seriously pack too much. Now, add a baby to the mix. Do I have enough bags or room in my car to hold everything I need?!
This weekend we are headed to Schererville to visit with Alex's family. The dogs are staying with my parents in Plainfield, but Blake is coming with us to meet everyone. This is Blake's first weekend away from our house. I have to pack diapers, wipes, clothes, toys, and all kinds of other things, but the most important: milk. This is my main concern. I haven't quite decided how I am going to do this. Do I pack a few bottles and then rely on freshly pumped milk to feed him? That seems to be the easiest solution, but I have never been away from my milk stash! I have an extreme attachment to my milk collection. There is milk in our refrigerator, freezer, and a separate deep freezer in the garage. I am certain this attachment to my milk is unhealthy, but I can't help it! I know I can't be the only mom out there with this milk attachment, right?!
On another note, Blake is doing great. He is eating his rice cereal (extremely liquidy mix), rolling over front to back and back to front, smiling, laughing, grabbing toys, and talking up a storm. I can't believe he is soon going to be four months old! Here are some more pictures to hold you over while we are in Schererville:
